Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
-Using the TOPS drawing system to create and maintain specifications for cable packaging.
-Supporting new part creation by assigning new part numbers and creating the parts in MX Open and CRT.
-Maintaining hard copy and electronic libraries for relevant industry standards documentation.
-Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and layout of equipment for maximum workflow efficiency.
-Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
-Define and document process flows for assembly and processes, which include writing and maintaining assembly, process, and test instructions.
-Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
-Analyze equipment and define project plan requirements for capital projects including documentation on A/R.
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience in the use of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -Experience with MX Open ERP preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (engineering or technical discipline preferred) Compensation range 50k to 75k
