ERP Specialist/Engineering/Estimating

Responsibilities:
Process owner for Bill of Materials input from engineering drawings into ERP system.
Process owner for labor estimates (using calculators and other in-house tools) for manufactured products.
Process owner for input of labor estimates and manufacturing routing into ERP system for related manufactured items.
Process owner for cost roll ups in ERP system for manufactured product.
Creation of cut-sheets for cut length on piping assemblies.
Engineering release of data packages associated with production releases (BOM, traveler, serial number, other documents).
Ability to read engineering drawings and related engineering bill of materials.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
Qualifications:
Good computer skills.
Familiarity with other ERP/MRP type manufacturing systems for order execution.
A Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Task focused.
Organized.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Fluent (reading and writing and oral) in English.
Intermediate or advanced abilities with Excel (basic spreadsheet layout, input, basic formulas, basic formatting).
Proficient in using estimation software and tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years experience.
