4K a year JOB SUMMARY Assists customers with services related to health record documentation review and/or retrieval.
Prepares and distributes accurate copies of PHI and documentation to appropriate customers in a timely manner.
Maintains appropriate reference sources.
Prepares and distributes accurate reports and documentation to appropriate customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education High School Graduate Minimum Work Experience No experience required Required Licenses/Certifications No certification required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills.
Requires the ability to handle confidential information Deals effectively with hospital personnel & duties of position.
Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
Skill sets in regards to answering telephones, balancing figures, inputting data into computer programs, maintaining filing systems, maintaining logs, updating patient charts including documentation and proofreading.
Maintains work area according to OSHA and NIOSH standards.
Skill sets in regards to equipment including but not limited to calculators, typewriter, fax machines, laser printer, personal computer, photocopier and word processor.
Software mastery to include but not limited to:
State of Texas Birth Certificate Registry System, 3M Softmed Chart Release, Chart View, IDX, Allscripts and additional software as needed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
