Share information and collaborates with Hospice Medical Director for identification of diagnoses, related and unrelated diagnosis/conditions, and medication coverage.
Assigns ICD-10 codes for hospice patients.
Excellent communication skills, share information on diagnosis and coding with team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Minimum Work Experience 6 Months Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position Accountable compliance with the regulatory requirements for Hospice ICD -10 Diagnosis Coding Deals effectively with community/consumers Demonstrated advocate of quality and cost effective care Understand the physical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and performance improvement activities Compose applicable policies and procedures Audit, monitor, and retrieve data Coordinate meetings Proven written and editing skills Strong computer skills Requires ability to handle confidential information Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills Demonstrates interpersonal skills Location:
