They will coordinate the move(s) as needed and also assist in the physical moving process.
Maintains inventory of items in storage and supplies items (furniture, etc.
) as requested.
Assists with Annual inventory & monthly spot checks.
Responsible for Backflow testing, Legionella & other water testing.
Will conduct fire hydrant testing as scheduled.
Also serves as a ProCard holder, making in-town and on-line purchases as directed.
Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
Coordinates needed movement of items (furniture, etc.
) on campus.
Physically moves and assists with moves of items.
Maintains inventory of items in storage and supplies items (furniture, etc.
) as requested.
Maintains storage area in a concise and organized manner.
Performs backflow testing.
Performs Legionella testing and maintains all records as part of HHS Legionella Prevention Plan.
Performs other water testing as prescribed by HHSC M&C.
Makes purchases both in-town and on-line using State ProCard as directed.
Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation.
Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
1.
Proficient level of computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
2.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
3.
Physical ability to move items (furniture, etc.
) and assist in bigger moves.
Ability to lift 50 pounds alone and over 50 pounds with assistance.

Ability to perform physical actions needed to conduct water testing and basic plumbing operations Registration or Licensure Requirements:

Graduation from a standard senior high school/equivalent or Experience in moving items (furniture, etc.

Flexibility in work hours may be required for this position.
