We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an immediate travel opening in Abilene, TX. The right NMT should have 1 year of experience. Read below for more requirements.
As an NMT, you will be responsible for the preparation of radiopharmaceutical agents and administering them to patients prior to using a scanner or camera to capture images. NMTs provide technical support to physicians or others who diagnose, care for, and treat patients and to researchers who investigate the uses of radioactive drugs.
Tasks
As an NMT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
  • Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
  • Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures
  • Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
  • Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist
  • Provide assistance to patients during procedures
  • Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, NMT National certification from the AART or NMTCB, and state-specific licensing when required.
NMTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. NMTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Requirements : BLS, NMTCB, 2 Years
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
